Looking for Book Rec - Funny Novel with Literary Value

Hey there - I want to recommend something funny to my book club. Anyone have a book to suggest that's humorous but also well written and worthwhile?

Thanks!

I thought this book was really sweet and funny. I know it seems a bit cheesy now that it is a major motion picture, but still a fun read

this one is not humorous, but is well written and worthwhile.

Small-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-on  Very different perspective

This book is written from the perspective of an autistic kid. It is a thriller that unfolds in a very unique way. I have never read another book like it - I finished this book in almost one sitting on a vacation.

How about something by David Sedaris or Augusten Burroughs? They can both be funny in that dark, twisted way.

I read and enjoyed Sedaris's "Me Talk Pretty One Day" and "When you are engulfed in flames" His humorous musings about his life's view is often in a self-deprecating manner. Well written? He's talented. Meaningful? No, it's a joy ride with the dark side.

Oh yeah, my wife's book club read "Queen of the Road" two or three months ago. Humorous autobio about roaming US in a bus. During their club meet, the author called and she answered the ladies questions. ...got to go the skate park is calling.
